The root system of peach trees is shallow, and the absorption roots are mainly distributed in 10--30 cm, but the root system is more developed, with more lateral roots and fibrous roots, and has a strong ability to absorb nutrients. Fertilization of peach trees should be deep application, or a combination of deep application and shallow application.

The fertilization periods of peach trees are: basal fertilizer, flower promoting fertilizer, fruit setting fertilizer, fruit swelling fertilizer. The amount of fertilizer applied to peach trees should be flexibly determined according to soil fertility, tree age, variety, yield, and climate factors. For orchards with low soil fertility, high age, and high yield, the amount of fertilization should be higher; for orchards with higher soil fertility, small age, and low yield, the amount of fertilization should be appropriately reduced.

Base fertilizer:

After the fruit is picked-apply it about 1 month before the leaves fall. Plant 5--8 kg of bio-organic fertilizer. Don't lean too close to the tree when fertilizing, and mix it with the soil when fertilizing. Use less for better trees and more for poor trees.

Top dressing:

The first time was the flower-promoting fertilizer before flowering after early spring. The plant was applied with 2--3 kg of bio-organic fertilizer and 100 g of urea. If the growth is strong and there is no lack of fertilizer, the flower-promoting fertilizer may not be applied or applied less.

The second time is the fruit-setting fertilizer between after flowering and before the hardening of the fruit kernels. 3--5 kg of bio-organic fertilizer is applied to the plant, together with 150 grams of urea, to increase the fruit-setting rate, improve tree nutrition, and promote the rapid growth of the fruit in the early stage.

The third time is the fruit enlargement fertilizer. The plant application of 3-5 kg of biological organic fertilizer and 200 grams of urea can promote the rapid growth of fruits and the differentiation of flower buds, which is of great significance for laying a good foundation for production in the coming year.
