The sowing dates of different varieties of cabbage are different, and now is the time to sow mid-to-late cabbage. Cabbage likes cold weather, is extremely cold-resistant, and has strong heat resistance; it likes sunshine, fertile soil, and is resistant to saline and alkali. With a little management, it is easier to grow cabbage to obtain high yield.

01 Seedbed selection

The seedbed must be selected in a plot with higher terrain, good ventilation, and convenient irrigation and drainage, and this plot has not been planted with vegetables of the same family within two years.

02 Nursery

Cabbage seeds are easy to germinate, so soaking and accelerating seed treatment are generally not required. The seeds can be sown directly into a nutrient bowl containing nutrient soil, one seed per hole, and then placed in the ground to grow seedlings. When the seeds grow into seedlings, they can be screened, and the weaker seedlings can be removed for planting. This move can obtain strong seedlings. When planting, the row spacing is about 60 cm and the plant spacing is about 70 cm.

03 Soil preparation

Apply 3000kg/mu of decomposed farmyard manure, and spread 50kg/mu of MAINPAR 13-8-24 fertilizer, and then plow and prepare the land. MAINPAR has a fast fertilizer effect, which can make the seedlings emerge evenly, robustly, and have a long fertilizer effect.
