There are many types of common water-soluble fertilizers.

Broadly speaking, simple water-soluble fertilizers include urea ammonium nitrate solution, water-soluble potassium sulfate, etc.; compound water-soluble fertilizers include monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate (industrial grade), ammonium polyphosphate, urea phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium nitrate, water-soluble NPK compound fertilizer (that is, a large amount of element water-soluble fertilizer) and organic-inorganic water-soluble fertilizer added with medium and trace elements, organic matter, amino acids, fulvic acid, humic acid, alginic acid, and nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrients.

Water-soluble fertilizer in the narrow sense mainly refers to the six products registered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, namely a large amount of element water-soluble fertilizer, a medium-element element water-soluble fertilizer, a trace element water-soluble fertilizer, a humic acid-containing water-soluble fertilizer, an amino acid-containing water-soluble fertilizer and an organic water-soluble fertilizer.

In terms of product form, water-soluble fertilizers are mainly solid and liquid. Solid water-soluble fertilizers are easy to store and transport, with low packaging requirements and high nutrient content, and most of them are solid water-soluble fertilizers on the market.

Reasonable application of water-soluble fertilizer should be a small number of times to maintain nutrient balance. Especially under the condition of drip irrigation and fertilization, the roots of crops are densely grown and large in quantity, and they have little dependence on the nutrient supply of the soil itself, and rely more on the nutrients provided by drip irrigation, so the ratio of nutrient allocation is reasonable. In addition, during drip irrigation, strictly prevent burning leaves and excessive fertilization.

It should be noted that water-soluble fertilizers are used in conjunction with other agricultural products. Fully water-soluble fertilizers are usually used as top dressing, emphasizing the combination with base fertilizer, organic and inorganic combination, a large number of elements combined with medium and trace elements, water-soluble fertilizer combined with conventional fertilizer, can reduce the overall cost.
